News Release - Community organizations invited to host summer meal program sites
Colorado's Summer Meals Program seeks sponsors, sites, and state partners to continue to ensure children and teens have access to healthy meals during the summer break. In 2024, sponsors at 626 sites served more than 1.9 million meals through this USDA-funded program administered by the Colorado Department of Education's School Nutrition Unit. For the summer of 2025, eligible families can also receive support through the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer Program.
