SY 2021-2022 OMB Clearance Package
The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) just released a new OMB Clearance Package for the proposed Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) for SY 2021-2022.

OCR is proposing some changes for the 2021−22 CRDC, including the restoration of data elements previously retired that will allow ED to identify and address any inequities in students’ access to educational opportunities. OCR also proposes the addition of new optional and required data elements as well as revisions to data elements to improve the accuracy of data submitted by schools and school districts. The proposed additions are reflective of new data elements that OCR considers to be of pressing concern. OCR believes these are areas where additional data are needed to better inform both civil rights enforcement and the provision of technical assistance.
