The CyberCorps Scholarship for Service Program (SFS)

National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) provides scholarships to students who attend a full-time, approved computer science degree program at a participating university. Student must agree to serve a 10 week summer internship and commit to holding a state, federal or local government position for a time period matching the period in which the applicant received the scholarship. Stipends of $20,000 to $30,000 are also available to scholarship recipients. Recipients who do not work after graduation will be required to pay back the total cost of their scholarship and stipend money.
