Lesson Order and Timing - Division of Fractions

Step 1

Before the lesson, the students are doing independent work on the chocolate chip activity, and the facilitator is circulating and reviewing their answers.

  • Division of Chocolate Chips and Division of Chocolate Chips Answers.

Step 3

Model & Think: Math Lesson (1 hour):

The Facilitator should review the Pre-Lesson Knowledge Check results that the students completed to get a sense of what they know and don’t know. The facilitator could do this before the lesson, or as the students do the ruler warm-up.

Confirm that the student can now solve division of fractions problems.
